Facebook Reviews Tab

Display your reviews automatically on Facebook

Updated over a week ago

Overview

RaveCapture has several ways to share your reviews on social media, one of which is the Facebook Reviews Tab. This feature allows you to showcase your great company reviews directly on your company's Facebook profile page - automatically.

When you look at your Facebook business page, you'll see a menu on the left side. This is where RaveCapture will add a new menu item called "RaveCapture Reviews", and when visitors click on it, your latest company reviews will display.

Note:  Facebook updated their platform in February 2018 to now require Facebook Pages to have at least 2,000 likes to add any custom tabs (ex: Facebook Reviews Tab). You can learn more here.

Setup

To access the Facebook Tab settings area within RaveCapture, you will need to:

Click on the Social Tab > Facebook Tab

Once you're within the Settings area, you have 2 items:

  • Facebook Page ID

  • Show Only (star rating drop down).

Facebook Page ID

The Facebook Page ID is a unique number assigned to your Facebook Page upon creation. We need the Page ID number to push our reviews to your page.

Finding your ID is pretty easy:

  1. Visit https://randomtools.io  and enter the URL to your profile page

  2. The Site will show you the ID number

  3. Copy & Paste that ID back into RaveCapture

Show Only Star Rating

The last setting is to select what star rating reviews to push into your Facebook Tab. By default, 3+ stars are selected.

Once you're happy with your selections, click the save button.

Facebook will pop up asking permission to add the RaveCapture app to your page. Hit accept and approve the installation

That's it, you're done! Your customers can now see your great reviews directly on your company's Facebook page.
