Overview

It can be tough sometimes transitioning to new systems, which is why TrustSpot offers the ability to easily import in your existing company or product reviews that way you don't miss out on anything.

This guide will walk you through the process of importing both your company and product reviews.

How to Import Company Reviews

If you have reviews on a reputable 3rd party site, and you would like to pull those into your TrustSpot account, you will need to do the following:

  • Click Company Reviews on the left menu
  • Click Import Existing Reviews
  • Enter in the site name + link

Once you click submit, our team will be notified via email and we will begin the review process shortly.

If you have company reviews in a CSV document, you can send those to: support@trustspot.io instead and our team will process them for you.

Note:  If you're on the Free Plan you are limited to 20 review imports and they will be completed within 48 hours.

How to Import Product Reviews

Since Product Reviews require a bit more information than just the company reviews portion, we will require you to fill out an import sheet so than we can add them into your account. Please contact our support team to help you with this process.

Your Product Reviews import CSV sheet needs to contain the following pieces of information:

  • Customer Name
  • Review Text
  • Review Stars 1-5
  • Review Date
  • Product SKU/ID (depends on your eCommerce cart, please check with support to verify what is needed from your site).
  • Product Name
  • Product URL
  • Product Image URL

We can also import in any review responses or user generated images as well. In that case, your CSV file should contain a few additional columns:

  • Response Text
  • Response Date
  • User Images

Note: We can only import product reviews if you're on a paid plan that supports them, such as the Growth Plan or higher.
