Overview

This article will help you connect TrustSpot to your Klaviyo account in order to send customer event data. 

By sending your customer event data to Klaviyo you can start to build custom segments of customers and automate post-review communication.

Supported Events

We currently send the following data events to Klaviyo, along with their relevant information. 

  • Submitted Company Review
  • Submitted Product Review
  • Uploaded Company Photo
  • Uploaded Product Photo
  • Asked a Question
  • Answered a Question

This data can be seen in 2 places: 

  1. Within each customer profile, under the "Metrics" area. 
  2. Within the Create segment area, under the "has" drop down where an action is defined.

Connect TrustSpot to Klaviyo

Within your TrustSpot Account, click on:  Site Integrations > Klaviyo 

Once on the Klaviyo page enter in your Private API Key, than click Save Settings. 

That's it, you're done!

How to find your Private API Key

Within your Klaviyo account, click on the following items to find your Private API Key:

  • Click Account  (top right drop down) 
  • Click Settings
  • Click API Keys
  • The Private API Key should be at the bottom. If you do not have a Private API Key, click "Create API Key"

Data Points

For each of the supported events sent to Klaviyo, the type of data points differs slightly. Below is a list of all data points we send to Klaviyo, broken down by each event. 

A. Submitted Product Review

  • Order ID
  • Product Identifier (SKU/ID)
  • Product Name
  • Rating
  • Review Text

B. Submitted Company Review

  • Order ID
  • Rating
  • Review Text

C. Uploaded Company Photo

  • Order ID
  • Photo Count (#)

D. Uploaded Product Photo

  • Order ID
  • Photo Count (#)
  • Product Identifier (SKU/ID)
  • Product Name

E. Asked A Question

  • Product Identifier (SKU/ID)
  • Product Name
  • Question Text

F. Answered A Question 

  • Answer Text
  • Product Identifier (SKU/ID)
  • Product Name
