Setup BCC Email to add TrustSpot to your outgoing customer emails and automatically pull in their details to send out Company Review Requests.

If you get stuck at any point, feel free to jump on Live Chat and one of our team members will provide guidance in getting the code installed. You can also email us at: support@trustspot.io.

What is BCC?

BCC is an email term that stands for blind carbon copy. It is similar to the "CC" (carbon copy) field in emails, except with BCC the main recipient does not see who is being CC'd. That means that when you BCC TrustSpot, your customers will not see it in their email headers.

BCC Email is an easy way to push customer data to TrustSpot. It consists of sending us an email with 3 tagged fields. Follow the steps below to get it setup.

Step 1: Open BCC Email

Find your unique TrustSpot email address. It's located under Site Integrations > Company Reviews > BCC Email or by clicking here.

Step 2: Enter from Email Address

Enter the email address that will be used to send emails to the BCC email address.

Step 3: Find Your Custom Email Address

Copy the unique BCC email address to add to your CRM, invoicing system, etc. This is the email address you need to send your order data to.

Step 4: Add Email Tags

The BCC emails must contain the tags below to work properly. We've included an example of how it should look below. Please replace the text between the bracketed tags with the data from your CRM, cart system, etc.

TrustSpotDirectEmail

[name]John Smith[/name]

[email]john@trustspot.io[/email]

[order]123[/order]

TrustSpot will now receive this data when you send data to your unique BCC email.

You can view pending requests in TrustSpot by navigating to Company Reviews > Review Moderation > Review Requests.
